Marvel unveiled its latest teaser this morning, hinting at the return of a team that only disbanded a few months ago after the death of Johnny Storm, forming the Future Foundation. That's right, it looks like the Fantastic Four might be making their return.
Billed under Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting, the teaser shows the familiar Fantastic Four logo with only a date... November 2011. Does this signal the return of Human Torch, the end of the Future Foundation, or something else entirely? Speculate away.

Update #1: Marvel looks like they might be releasing a new teaser every day (as they love to do), and the latest seems to dispel the notion of Johnny Storm making his return. But the latest teaser raises a new question: if the team consists of Thing, Sue Storm, Reed Richards and Spider-Man, what happens to the rest of the Future Foundation? And why do they drop the name? Also, I guess it's safe to assume that The Thing makes his way out of Fear Itself relatively unscathed.
As someone in the comments pointed out, FF double ships in October, taking us to issue #11. Issue #12, if you were to go by original Fantastic Four numbering... is #600. This year also celebrates the Fantastic Four's 50th anniversary. Coincidence?
Update #2: Before you fire up the machines of hate after seeing the image below, consider this: this is a Joe Quesada image, and it resembles a wrap-around cover. Probably a variant cover, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the team. That's my best guess. Or perhaps the new Fantastic Four will run alongside FF, offering up adventures from the heyday of the team, similar to Captain America and Bucky?
Update #3: Alas, all of our speculation paid off today, as Marvel revealed the latest teaser (which appears to double as a cover by John Romita Jr.) that confirms Fantastic Four #600 is indeed coming in November. No hint at what will become of the FF series, however.
Update #4: Scratch that. Marvel's newest teaser confirms that FF will be sticking around past issue #11. The newly revealed art, as well as the solicit text, for FF #12 reads simply "It's not over." Hickman is listed as writer, while Juan Bobillo (She-Hulk) is the artist. The question now is whether both books will co-exist, or if Fantastic Four is only returning for the #600 issue. The former certainly looks to be the case given the cast shown for FF #12 below.
